The last half of this OVA is an out-of-control no-holds-barred sleazefest that could only be made in the late eighties. Released in 1988, directed by Ichirō Itano and Takuya Wada.

I do in fact have this one, but sadly because it's an American VHS release it isn't uncut :( . . .
The parents of both Ichirō Itano and Takuya Wada must be proud.
More gore/camp, whoo-hoo~!! :D

Wow!!I like it very much!
You're right, that kind of anime stopped being produced at the dawn of the 90's... I'm sad, i want to go back to this golden age of OAV!
I fell in love with japanese animation because of the Violence Jack OAV, Urotsukidoji and everything by Kawajiri.. And nothing like that has been produced recently..
I hope there are still a lot of gems i haven't discovered yet.
PS : your blog is great, keep on the good work!
loved violence jack!!!
@Yukiko Forever!: :( You are missing out on all the good stuff!
@Mr Alchemy: I would be surprised if they aren't.
@JigsawJohnny: oh yeah.
@Vivisector: OH YEAH.
@megane-kun: Thanks. I'm not sure that I'd want to go back to that time, it is much more comfortable (and beneficial for the movies) to look back at that time through a romantic haze. Thanks!
@alex.00: YESS
does anyone know where to DL the original version?
